Nola Jeanette (Ballweber) Goode was born on January 11, 1934 to Delmar and Nora Ballweber in Reeder, ND. She was the seventh of 11 children. Nola married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Donald Schwartz, September 24, 1952. They had five children together-Cathy, Blaine, Janie, Julie, and Barry. Nola had a deep and abiding love for God and family, and a passionate zest for life. She loved music, reading, traveling, going to concerts, and decorative painting. She could dance the twist like nobody’s business, and she could make any house a welcoming and cozy home with her creative decorating skills and warm hospitality. Nola had an outstanding and beautiful soprano singing voice that was unmatched. She sang at many weddings, funerals, and other events. Nola had a very stylish and classy fashion sense.
