Pearl A. (Bauer) Miller

Pearl Miller, 89, of Beulah, ND passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM CT on Thursday, November 13, 2005 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Beulah, ND with Pastor Dana Coyle officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah City Cemetery, Beulah.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pearl was born to Matt and Pauline (Richau) Bauer on November 28, 1935 in Golden Valley. She was baptized February 2, 1936 and confirmed December 16, 1951 at the Golden Valley Congregational Church.  Pearl attended rural school and completed High School at Golden Valley. Pearl attended Dickinson State College and received her teaching degree. She was united in marriage to Fred Miller on June 17, 1956 at Golden Valley. Pearl taught school for 34 years. She took a great interest in the residents of the nursing home. She started the Adopt a Grandparent Program with her students at the Knife River Care Center.

Pearl also taught Sunday school for many years and was active in several projects and activities at church. She took a great interest in young people. Pearl corresponded with many young people in college and also with children that she sponsored in foreign countries. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Pearl is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce (Sharon) of State College, PA; one daughter, Brenda of Bismarck; one grandson, Konrad (Christine) Miller and one granddaughter, Anna (Ed) Scully; two sisters, Betty Aipperspach and Marvee Faut; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her parents; and her brother, Paul Bauer.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials to be made to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Youth Fund, the Mercer County Historical Society, Beulah or SMC Hospice, Hazen, ND.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
