Randy Schneider Obituary

Randal “Randy” Philip Schneider, age 85, of Beulah, North Dakota, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Sakakawea Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Beulah, ND, with Pastor Walt Wolff officiating. Burial to follow at the Beulah City Cemetery, Beulah. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Randy was born on September 8, 1940, in Monterey, California, to Jack and Regina Schneider. He was raised in Glen Ullin, North Dakota, and graduated from high school in May of 1958. Randy proudly served in the United States Army from December 1963 until his honorable discharge in December 1965. During the Vietnam War, he served with Company A, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry.

On February 14, 1969, Randy married Sharon Benz in Hazen, North Dakota. Together, they shared 56 years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, faith, and family.

Randy was a skilled and well-known carpenter and owned and operated R&S Contracting in Beulah for many years. His craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and integrity earned him great respect throughout the community. After retiring, Randy enjoyed birdwatching and spending time with his family.

A man of deep faith, Randy was a dedicated and active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, where he previously served on the church council.

Randy’s greatest joy came from his family—creating, caring for, and enjoying the company of his sons and their families. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon Schneider; sons Keith Schneider and his wife Marsha of Hazen, ND; Mark Schneider of Beulah, ND; and Greg Schneider and his wife Ashlee of Highlands Ranch, CO; grandchildren Mariya, Matthew, Cole, and Tucker Schneider; and his sister, Joan Hill of West Fargo, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Regina Schneider, and his brother-in-law, Jim Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sakakawea Medical Center Foundation, with funds directed toward Hospice or Senior Suites.
