Sandra Faye (Kuch) Femling, 58, of Beulah, ND passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at Sanford Health, Bismarck, ND.
Sandra Faye was born on March 29, 1963 in Hazen, ND the daughter of Donald and Margaret (Aanderud) Kuch of Beulah, ND. She was raised and educated in Beulah and later attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND.
On September 20, 1991 she married Tom Femling at Zion Lutheran Church in Beulah. Together in Wahpeton they were blessed with four sons: Corey, Zachary, Joshua and Jeremy Femling later moving to Beulah where they were raised and educated.
In her younger years, Sandi worked in the food industry as a waitress in local restaurants. After many years devoted to raising her sons, she worked as a dietary aide at Knife River Care Center and, most recently, Senior Suites of Sakakawea Medical Center. She served people with a smile and a special touch only she could provide. She especially enjoyed the many friendships of coworkers who loved Sandi’s free spirit of serving those in need. She will forever be remembered for being the beautifully warm and gentle soul that she was and always will be.
Sandi’s true passion was her boys and her wish for success and happiness in their lives. She would happily tell stories of their love of skateboarding and passion for music. There was an unparalleled bond of love between them.
Sandi fought a nearly two year battle against cancer with an unbelievable courage and strength. Her glowing positivity rarely wavered despite several complications and setbacks. Although she is gone, the astounding odds that she beat could almost be considered a miracle. She passed peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of August 9th, 2021 and is finally at peace with the Lord now and forever.
She is survived by her husband Tom Femling of Beulah; three sons Corey(Tanisha) Femling of Casper, WY, Zach Femling of Beulah and Josh Femling (Fiancé Lacey) of St. Cloud, MN. Her two brothers Jeff (Dianne) Kuch of Beulah and Greg Kuch of Wahpeton, ND; numerous special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her cousins Jennings Wardlaw and Robi-Anne Bogo, youngest son Jeremy Femling and parents Donald and Margaret.
Sandi would have several wishes to those being a special thank you to her “Besties”: Tamara Bogo, Michelle Tipton, and Michelle Wolf for all the unwavering and unconditional love, compassion, and care they provided to her throughout her life.
And secondly, she would also ask that you join in a Celebration of Life potluck meal to be announced at a later date. This Celebration of Life will be for all to share good times, stories, memories, and photos of Sandi.
