Sheridan Sun

Sheridan Paige Margaret “Boo-boo” Sun (Ta-Ma Rah Sh-ora-Goes to her land) started her journey on December 11, 2022, 21, of New Town ND, genuine member of the Low Cap clan and the child of Low Cap clan. Services will be held Saturday December 17, 2022, 10:00 AM CST at Twin Buttes Wellness Center with pastor Kevin Finley officiating. Burial will follow at Medicine Stone II Cemetery, Twin Buttes ND.

A wake will begin at 5:00 PM CST on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Twin Buttes Wellness Center, Twin Buttes ND. The family will begin procession to the Twin Buttes Wellness Center from Barbot Funeral Home at 3:00 PM CST.

Sheridan was born on May 28, 2001, in Minot ND to Clarence and Mary Ellen (Howling Wolf) Sun.

Sheridan grew up in New Town ND, where she attended head start, Edwin Loe elementary and New Town High School graduating class of 2019. Throughout her high school years Sheridan actively participated in several activities and sports basketball, volleyball and golf. She also played the trombone and was a member of choir and enjoyed the drums. After graduating High School Sheridan also completed a semester at the Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College. Sheridan was a fierce protector of her family and friends. Always willing to help family during family gatherings or when extra help was needed by her aunts and uncles. She loved to travel making memories with her family. Sheridan loved to bake, cook and making art.

On June 4, 2021, Sheridan brought into the world the light of her life her son Calvin Cedar Red Sun.

Sheridan grew up in New Town, but her heart was always in Twin Buttes. She always had a close bond with her brother Justice Calvin where she spent many holidays, and summers with him since birth. While living in New Town Sheridan was always spending time hanging out her nephew Jaiven Hale who she claimed as a brother, close friend Colby and Journey. When you saw these three you knew they were being mischievous. Their bond was so tight there never told on each other. Always smiling and laughing together.

Sheridan was a loving and compassionate person who loved her entire family. Most of all she loved and adored her only son Calvin, he was her world.

When your think of Sheridan, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

Like her name and where her heart is; Sheridan is now driving her grandma Mavis in the hills.

She was preceded in death by; Great Grandparents Ernest and Vivian Medicine Stone, Thomas and Margaret Bluestone, Grandparents Mavis Medicine Stone, Dennis Howling Wolf Sr., Diana Kay Medicine Stone, Benny Medicine Stone, Calvin Medicine Stone; Aunts Stephanie Medicine Stone, Billie Hollie Hale; Uncles Craig Hurkes Sr., Henry Sun, Elmer Wells Jr. William Howling Wolf; Sisters Samantha Hurkes-Hall, Autumn Sun, Nephew Tuff Hall, and Her loving pet Lennon Sun.
