Stephanie Moniz

Stephanie May Moniz (Abadaashi'rish), was born in Clarkfield, MN on August 15, 1975 to Raymond Moniz and Cheryl Benson. A mother of five and long-time resident of Minneapolis, MN passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 23, 2021 at the age of 45.

Stephanie is survived by her children Katherine Browneagle, Gabriel Benson, Frankie Browneagle, and Tristan Thompson; her mother, Cheryl Benson, her siblings, Stacy Shaw, R. Vincent Moniz, and Melanie Moniz; and many nephews, nieces, and relatives. She was proceeded in death by her maternal grandmother, May Blanche Benson, her son, William Benson, and her beloved step-father William J. LaDeaux.

Stephanie was a loving, gracious, and charismatic woman. She had passion for life and a laugh that would light up those around her. She lifted people's spirits and always cared for those around her. She will be deeply missed by family and her loved ones.

A private wake will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 and a social distance service will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Twin Buttes Congregational Cemetery, Twin Buttes, ND at 9:00 AM CDT with Elder Gerald Ironshield officiating. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks are strongly recommended for those in attendance. The family thanks you for your cooperation in advance.
