Tammy was born on November, 4, 1959, and grew up on her family's ranch north of Dodge. She graduated from Dodge High School in 1978 and then graduated from Dickinson State University 1982.
Tammy dedicated much of her life to her work at Woolworth and Dans Supermarket, where she became known for her kind heart and strong work ethic. However, it was her deep love for her family that defined her life. Her pride and joy were her nieces and nephews, and this love extended to her great nieces and nephews. Tammy never missed a birthday or holiday, always ensuring that each celebration was recognized. Known for her remarkable gift-giving, Tammy's thoughtful presents were always well-chosen, reflecting her deep care for each individual. Family gatherings and holidays were especially dear to her, and she made it a point to bring her family together whenever possible. Tammy had a special bond with all of the family's animals. She often cared for them during long weekends or vacations.
A special thank you to all of Tammy's friends who took her out to lunch and many shopping trips. This was a blessing to our family.
Tammy resided at Heritage Hills, Dickinson, ND and made many friends there.
Tammy is survived by her sisters, Linnea Lorenz of Killdeer, ND, and Brenda (Richard) Zarr of Center, ND: her brother Darren (Janet) Lorenz of Dodge, ND. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Scott (Lisa) Zarr, Casey (Alison) Zarr, Jesse Zarr, Jayme Lorenz, and Nichole (Denver) Unruh. She cherished her great nieces and nephew: Gracie, Katie, Statler, and MaKlain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Lorenz, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tammy's memory will live on through the love she gave, the family she cherished, and the countless ways she made every gathering special. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
