Tasia (Neuberger) Wiest

Tasia Wiest, 51, of Hazen, passed away on Sunday August 3, 2025 surrounded by all her family and friends, at Sakakawea Medical Center, Hazen, ND.  Services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT, Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Peace Lutheran Church, Hazen, with Pastor Walt Wolff officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hazen City Cemetery.

            Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah.

Tasia was born on April 7, 1974 in Hazen, ND to Terry and Jackie (Specht) Neuberger. She attended school in Hazen until she graduated in 1992. She attended BSC for two years. Tasia happily married Jason Wiest on May 25, 1996. Together they had three beautiful children Sierra, Alicia, and Brady. Tasia’s kids were the absolute light of her life.

            Tasia worked for FSA for 24 years, starting in Beulah, and continued in Center until last year. Tasia enjoyed fishing, camping at the lake, family trips, making sausage at the farm, politics and spending time with her family.

            Tasia is survived by her husband, Jason, and her three children Sierra, Alicia, and Brady; her parents, Terry and Jackie Neuberger; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Loren and Peggy Wiest; sisters, Lisa (Ira) Roberson and their children, Paige and Taylor; Ashley Neuberger (Jesse Huether) and their children, Gavyn and Gracyn; brother-in-law, Shane (Jenny) Wiest and their children, Mikayla, Brittney, and Rachael; sister-in-law, Twyla (Joe) Barbot and their children, Jacob (JoceLynn), Elijah, Isaak (Leah), and Eden; very special friends, Angie and Emma Grueneich, and Brenda Quinn; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

            Tasia is preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Wyonna Miller, Ervin and Alice Neuberger, Roland and Loretta Wiest, Bill and Hildegard Wallender; cousins, Jamie Wolf, Jesse Neuberger, Melanie DeCurtins, Ryan Speidel; niece, Dylyn Roberson; uncle, John Sailer; and loved one, Hunter Fritz.
