Victor Boepple

Victor Boepple, 83, of Twin Buttes, ND passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 at his home.  Services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Twin Buttes Wellness Center with Kevin Finley officiating.   Burial will follow at the Burr Family Cemetery, Twin Buttes.  A wake will begin at 5:00 PM CDT, Monday at the Twin Buttes Wellness Center.

Victor Boepple was born on August 26, 1941 in Dunn County to Hilda Rehberg and Reinhold Boepple.  Vic was the second eldest of five brothers, Will Boepple; Larry Boepple (Pam); Donald Boepple; and Bob Boepple. Vic served in the United States Air Force for four years, 1960 to 1964, in Turkey, Germany and Grand Forks, ND.  After his service to his country, Vic married Reva Burr on October 2, 1966 and become father to five kids, Nina, Jackie, Jay, Jolene and Jody. Vic and Reva raised their oldest grandson, Freddie Fox. Vic was a very proud grandpa to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Victor loved camping, fishing, visiting, yard work, gardening and especially working! And he loved to relax after a hard day’s work with a can of beer. He also loved to tell jokes!

Vic and Reva also owned and operated a Texaco gas station and a clothing store, Ree-Vic’s, in Halliday, ND. Vic was also in law enforcement both in Halliday and Twin Buttes. Reva and Vic made a new home in 1974 at the Burr’s old place in Twin Buttes, ND. He and Reva built a beautiful home for their family. Vic worked for the Fort Berthold Housing Authority (FBHA). He retired from FBHA after 27+ years.

Victor Boepple is survived by his daughters, Nina Fox-CrowsBreast; Jackie Fox-Danks (Marvin); Jolene Fox-Whitman, all of New Town, ND and special grandson, Freddie Fox, Rosemont, MN; son-in-law, Jeff Altringer. Twin Buttes, ND. Brothers; Larry Boepple (Pam) of Halliday, ND; Don Boepple, New Town, ND; Bob Boepple of Dickinson, ND.

Vic was preceded to Heaven by Reva Burr-Boepple, wife of 50+ years; his parents, Reinhold and Hilda Boepple; daughter, Jody Fox-Altringer; son, Jay Fox; grandsons, Lyle Danks, Darrell Danks and Zachary Benson; sons-in-law, Elgin CrowsBreast and Clifton Whitman. Brother, Will Boepple. Brothers-in-law, Roger Old Mouse, Dennis Burr, Sr., Larry Burr Sr.; sisters-in-law, Marlene Burr-Ward, Joyce Burr, and Joy Sorenson-Burr.
