Our heartfelt sympathy to Auntie Elsie's family. So sorry for your loss. Auntie Elsie made it to 100 and even further: 105! She was a determined lady. I will never forget her giving me a "Grandmother" ribbon from Grandma Schrempf (Morast) funeral and telling me to put it in my dresser drawer for safe keeping. It is still there. New dresser drawer but same precious ribbon. And learning how to peel potatoes from her: she never wasted a move! Her tater-tot casserole is still my (our) favorite food to have for dinner. And she served chocolate flavored cream of wheat: it was such a treat! I still can taste it! I have good memories. Her flower garden was her pride and joy. May your memories bring you smiles and of course tears of joy!

I knew Elsie as a CNA at Knife River Care Center. She always had a smile on her face and she was a wonderful lady. I loved when she would walk down the hallways in her wheelchair excited about going to Bingo! She will be deeply missed.
