My heart and prayers go out to your family. Death itself is tragic enough but to lose someone unexpectedly and so young is truly heartbreaking. I recently lost my brother suddenly and it was very painful. Knowing that God is aware of our grief and that he provides comfort for us in his inspired scriptures has helped me tremendously. He holds out to us a wonderful future where he promises, by means of a resurrection, to reunite us with our loved ones who has fallen asleep in death, to a world where there will be no more dying. I am so sorry to hear about Travis and the terrible loss to his friends and family. It always weighs heavy on my heart when I learn of the loss of one of my former students. I remember his smile and the spark in his eyes, even though it has been several years since he was on campus. Travis would want you everyone to remember the good times...he was just like that. Again - I am so sorry for your loss.
