My deepest condolences to the family, may you find comfort in prayer and the beautiful words of Isaiah 25:8 where God promises us that He will soon eliminate all death and suffering. Acts 24:15 speaks of a resurrection, a time when God will reunite us with our loved ones again! We offer our deepest condolences.
It has been about 29 years since I last saw and worked with Bernie.
I had to take an early retirement due to poor health, and Bernie was one of 3 Boilermakers that wrote letters for my disability hearing.
Even in times of disagreement, Bernie treated me with kindness and respect.
In my book, that's a real man.
Bernie was not only my co-worker, but a true friend.
