CLIFFORD JAMES SCHAAN, 55, Beulah, died peacefully on November 5, 2017, at his home. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CST, Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Beulah, with Rev. Toby Heller officiating. A celebration of his life will follow in the church hall. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017, from 5:00-7:00 PM CST at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah.
Cliff was born in Minot, ND, on July 2, 1962, to Julius and Delores (Salwey) Schaan. He moved to Beulah in 1980, where he met the love of his life Faye (Dschaak) Shaan. They married on July 24, 1982, in Beulah and have resided there since. He was a loving father of three children whom he enjoyed hunting, camping, and fishing with. He was employed with Swanson and Youngdale for 30 years and was presently employed with Abrasive’s Inc. He loved spending time with his family, and his grandchildren were what kept him going. Anyone who knew Cliff, knew of his infectious laugh and smile. There was never a dull moment with Cliff. He will be forever remembered and greatly missed.
Cliff is survived by his wife, of 35 years, Faye of Beulah; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Brooklyn Schaan of Washburn, and Craig and Autumn Schaan of Beulah; daughter and son-in-law, Jade and Jeff Cramer of Beulah; six grandchildren, Danica, Julius, Giselle, Jace, Delaney, and baby Schaan; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Dschaak of Beulah; one brother and sister-in-law, JR and Beth Schaan of Washington; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sue Campbell of Minot, and Sally and John Beaulac of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Delmar Dschaak.
